01 The Brief

The Brief

As our client's team grew, it became necessary for them to relocate. We were tasked with creating a modern classic office interior.

The space in Wigmore Street still had the previous tenant's fit out in situ and we were asked to carry out the CAT A works, together with the CAT B Fit Out.

Our client owns and develops commercial property and often host large project meetings. They wanted their offices to have a 'modern classic' feel to them, but for their visitors to remember the space.

They also wanted to encourage good communication and collaboration between all members of staff, including the Partners.

03 The Solution

The Solution

We loved the radius window bays which are a great feature of this office building. We took inspiration from the curves and suggested large, round feature light fittings for the meeting rooms.

We suggested a wallpapered feature wall, with statement chairs, we installed stainless steel signage to greet guests as they arrived via the lift before they entered the meeting rooms with the 'feature light' fittings and bay windows.

The break out space was designed with a 12mm glass frontage next to the open plan and included a picnic style table. Our client has commented that this is often used for team meetings and for collaborative discussions.

As with many Partners, they prefer to work in close proximity to ensure excellent communication. There was also a requirement for visitors to feel comfortable and relaxed within their office and the Partners requested that the space did not appear formal and 'stuffy'! The Wigmore Street offices had wonderful architectural interest and we left this to be the 'wow' factor when designing and refitting the suite.
