THE BRIEF

Having fitted out their first London office, we were asked to design a high quality, classical Mayfair site with a strong 'nod' to their New York style.

Moving from Dover Street to the prestigious 'Devonshire House', this project not only involved a high end design, but also called on our expertise dealing with all necessary statutory approvals, including 'Listed Building Consent'.

THE SOLUTION

This prestigious office building offered the perfect opportunity to design and build a quality office, with a mix of quality doors and frames, with glass frontage to meeting rooms and offices.

To compliment this, we supplied 'Dealing Desks' complete with 'Cool Air' flow, lockable CPU housings and multiple CAT6e links, together with executive furniture from 'Hands' to furnish the meeting rooms and executive offices, which created a calm but powerful office environment.

Linen wall coverings from Vescom were hung in the reception area and client facing rooms. Milliken 'Consequence' textured carpet tiles complimented the radius walnut reception counter and stainless steel signage.

The simple tea point with brick tiled splash back, black laminate worktop and complimentary vinyl tiled flooring offered a practical area for staff to make refreshments.

We have recently relocated offices to one of the most prestigious buildings in London, Devonshire House. We hired IPS for the job as we have worked with them before with previous office relocations six years ago, and our CEO was adamant he wanted to assign IPS again and didn’t require quotations from any other interior design companies.

Devonshire House is one of the most difficult buildings to work in as it’s a grade II listed building and everything you do requires permission, sign off’s, paperwork and documentations. I can honestly say that I could not have done this without IPS and I’ve mentioned to Phillip several times that I’ve been so grateful that IPS have been so patient throughout this whole process. Even the building manager and security guards at Devonshire have said IPS have by far been the best contractors to work with. It seems as though it’s not only myself whom will happily recommend them, they seem to have this effect on most people they work with. I’ve personally been the main point of contact and I can rest assured IPS have been brilliant all the way through this process that’s been going on for almost 10 months. They have been incredibly helpful, professional and thorough. What I like about IPS is that they thrive on their professionalism, customer satisfaction and to build a long term relationship. It’s not only the main people that you deal with on a daily basis, it’s everyone you deal with that has anything to do with IPS that gives you this impression, even if they don’t work directly for them. I’ve come across so many companies that refuses to do anything that is not specifically stated in a contract or they are very quick to point out that it’s not their issues to deal with etc. and even though there have been many of those scenarios from my side that I’ve asked IPS to deal with they have never once said anything about not wanting to help. They follow through from start to the very end until the job is done.
